Event: Workshop for community groups on sustainable energy

Climate Heroes, Ireland’s national community climate challenge, is taking place from April 15th-26th, challenging community groups and organisations to reduce their carbon footprint by the largest amount.

In the run-up to the Climate Heroes competition, Global Action Plan is hosting a series of workshops to help communities learn more about the simple actions they can take to reduce carbon emissions. This is also a great opportunity to connect with other community groups working to achieve similar goals.

One of these workshops is all about sustainable energy. The workshop will explore how the energy that powers our homes is linked to climate change, and you’ll get to hear from an  Irish community group that’s taking a local, imaginative response to the issue.

The free workshop is taking place online on Wednesday, April 10th at 7pm.
